Successful Entrepreneurs Practice Positive Thinking
Successful Entrepreneurs Practice Positive Thinking
Successful Entrepreneurs focus their minds on what they want in business and life.
Positive Thinking
Positive thinking is the ability to look at positive change regardless of the real situation. It is the denial of despair, the refusal to look for weaknesses, rejecting the setbacks, and challenges you face in achieving the vision.
“A positive attitude has the power to change your life. By ending negative thinking habits, you can embark on a new beginning and achieve your loftiest goals.”
Napoleon Hill | Author of Think & Grow Rich.
The Creative Power of Positive Thinking
Positive thinking ignites the explosion by enhancing creative thinking. When you set your mind on positive thinking it widens your span of attention and gives you the ability to look at something or situation with positive results and a broad perspective. It is the denial of despair, the refusal to look for weaknesses, rejecting the setbacks, and challenges you face in building your success.
The study on the Hidden Driver of Excellence conducted by Goleman, (2013) shows that the brain has heightened prefrontal activity and positivity resulting in enhanced mental functions such as creative thinking, cognitive flexibility, and even faster processing. That means positive thinking helps us to be more creative or innovative.
How to Practice Positive Thinking?
An Entrepreneur can use the following steps and techniques to practice positive thinking.
Step 1. Spot negative attitudes you experience
Invest your time and identify negative attitudes you experience in your life. List all negative attitudes you experience to confess and take a new direction. For example, you might have a view that I cannot, such as:
- I cannot do it!
- I cannot be successful!
- I don’t have experience!
Step 2. Reject negative thinking
Replace negative attitudes with positive attitudes to take a new direction. For example, reverse the negative views presented in step 1 as:
- I can do it
- I am successful
- I have experience.
Step 3. Practice positive affirmation
Keep your mouth on victory by practicing positive affirmation every time you experience negative attitudes. Your mouth should focus on positive affirmation about useful things you want or happening in your life. Control or limit toxic information from reaching your mind. Practice more positive affirmation daily until it becomes your real nature.
